Powered by a 3.2-liter air-cooled flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. Showing 72,888 miles, this final-year G-body Carrera is accompanied by extensive documentation dating back to its original delivery, including the factory window sticker, original purchase paperwork, option label, and a substantial collection of service records.
Originally delivered by Tischer Autopark in Silver Spring, Maryland, this Carrera was sold new on May 19,1989.   
The original window sticker lists a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $59,881 in 1989, ($162k in 2026 dollars).
The car was factory-finished in Guards Red and equipped with a Black partial-leather interior. The exterior is complemented by front and rear spoilers, body-color impact bumpers, integrated fog lights, heated and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, and staggered forged Fuchs alloy wheels measuring 6x16 inches in front and 8x16 inches at the rear.
The Cabriolet was ordered with a manual convertible top in place of the standard power-operated system. The factory window sticker reflects a $2,080 credit for deletion of the power top, providing a simpler and lighter manually operated arrangement.
Inside, the cabin features Black partial-leather upholstery, power windows, central locking, air conditioning, cruise control, automatic heating control, a raised-hub steering wheel, and a shortened gear lever. Factory audio equipment included a Blaupunkt Reno radio, six-speaker sound system, and additional amplifier equipment.
Power is supplied by a rear-mounted 3.2-liter air-cooled flat-six equipped with Bosch Motronic fuel injection. The engine was factory-rated at 215 horsepower and is paired with the desirable G50 five-speed manual transaxle and hydraulically operated clutch. Factory option code 220 denotes a limited-slip differential, while option code 243 identifies the shortened gear lever.
