Vehicle Overview
Cardiff Classics is pleased to present this 1978 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible, finished in Red over a White interior.
One of the most recognizable automobiles ever produced, the Volkswagen Beetle combines unmistakable styling with simple, durable mechanicals and an engaging driving experience.
The convertible version adds open-air motoring to the Beetle's classic character and remains one of the most desirable variations of the iconic Type 1.
This 1978 example features a bright Red exterior complemented by a White interior and convertible soft top. Period Volkswagen details include chrome bumpers, running boards, round headlights, and the Beetle's signature curved bodywork.
Power is provided by Volkswagen's rear-mounted air-cooled flat-four engine paired with a manual transmission.
This late-production Beetle Convertible offers classic Volkswagen styling in an especially attractive Red and White color combination and is ready to be enjoyed as a weekend cruiser, beach car, or addition to a collection.
