Cardiff Classics is pleased to present this 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback "Eleanor". This Mustang started life as a 1967 Fastback, before undergoing a full restoration in 2005, modeled after the star Mustang from the 2000 film Gone in Sixty Seconds.
Shortly after its restoration, the car was featured on the cover of Mustang and Ford's November 2005 edition magazine, where an article showcased the car's careful and laborious restoration by its passionate owner.
There were no expenses spared in this vehicle's restoration. The car boasts a bulletproof, iron block Ford 4.6L DOHC V8 paired to an Eaton supercharger putting out more than 430 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The engine in this 1967 Mustang is built to last, featuring forged crankshafts, pistons, and connecting rods. A Griffin radiator and custom fan shroud keeps temperatures under control, while fuel is delivered via an Electromotive Fuel Management System.
Power is sent to the rear wheels with a Tremec T56 6 speed manual and a Ford 9" Traction Lok differential with 3.55 gears.
This Cobra powered Mustang handles excellent with custom-fabricated coilover suspension, and stops quick with Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners.
